Job summary

KBR is seeking a highly organized Senior Proposal Manager to lead end-to-end proposal development for government bids, ensuring timely, compliant, and compelling submissions. You will coordinate with SMEs, writers, and BD/Operations teams, driving schedules and resource allocation while maintaining high-quality standards.

The role requires 12+ years in proposal management, Shipley or similar processes, and APMP certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of direct proposal management experience managing complex Government bids of $100M+, 3 of which should be in management.
• Demonstrated ability delivering proposals that are compliant with RFP requirements and aligned with capture direction.
• Track-record of success in developing winning, compliant, compelling proposals
• Experience with Shipley or similar proposal process; APMP certification preferred.

• Implement best practices in proposal development to enhance overall quality and competitiveness.
• Interact with BD and Operations personnel to clarify requirements and address queries during the proposal development process.
• Foster positive relationships across teams through professional and effective communication.
• Contribute to maintaining a repository of proposal content, templates, and reusable materials to streamline future proposal development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 12+years of direct proposal management experience managing complex Government bids of $100M+ , 3 of which should be in management. Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of the degree requirement.
• Demonstrated ability delivering proposals that are compliant with the RFP requirements and are consistent with the direction of the capture team
• Track-record of success in developing winning, compliant, compelling proposals
• Experience with Shipley or similar proposal process; APMP certification preferred

Basic Compensation

$151,700-$227,600

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s working location, knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
