We're currently seeking a Senior Property Manager to lead operations at a 200+ unit affordable and permanent supportive housing community in Boston’s Back Bay, steps from the Back Bay T.

This is a high-visibility, mission-driven leadership role in a Housing First environment, partnering closely with an on-site services provider supporting formerly homeless residents. The right candidate will be a hands‑on operator who leads from the front, brings real depth in supportive housing and affordable compliance, and can keep a team steady in a high‑acuity setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations for a 200+ unit affordable and supportive housing community, including resident experience, leasing, and building performance
• Lead and support an on‑site team across property management, compliance, resident services, and maintenance with a highly visible, hands‑on leadership style
• Partner closely with an on‑site supportive services provider to align on resident needs, de‑escalation practices, and Housing First operating norms
• Own affordable housing compliance and occupancy processes, including LIHTC and project‑based Section 8 requirements, recertifications, and housing authority coordination
• Manage collections, notices, and escalations through Massachusetts summary process as needed, while maintaining a resident‑centered approach

Qualifications

• 2+ years of direct permanent supportive housing experience, including comfort with de‑escalation and working alongside case management or services teams
• Strong affordable housing operations background, including LIHTC and project‑based Section 8 compliance and recertifications
• Proven ability to lead on‑site teams by stepping in to solve problems, not managing only from an office
• Experience with collections, legal notices, and eviction or summary process workflows in Massachusetts or a similar regulatory environment
• Commercial tenant exposure is a plus (not required)
• Earn up to $138,000 in total compensation (base plus bonus potential), with top‑end base earnings at 110,000.
