Job summary

Berkshire Residential Investments in Dallas, TX is seeking an experienced Property Manager for a 300-500 unit community. You will lead the on-site team, manage budgets, forecasts, marketing plans, and capital plans to drive property performance.

You will hire, train, and supervise staff, maintain resident communications, participate in promotional activities, and partner with the Regional Manager to deliver exceptional resident experiences.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in multifamily real estate
• Critical and analytical thinking when setting goals and reporting results
• Proficiency with computer software and applying knowledge to solve financial and operational issues
• Understanding of budget and financial statements
• Proficiency in English (writing, speaking, and comprehension)
• Leadership by action
• Sense of humor

Responsibilities

• Work with the Regional Manager and staff to complete annual budgets, monthly/quarterly forecasts, marketing plans, staffing plans and capital plans
• Drive financial performance by understanding how operational decisions affect financial results and by reviewing financial statements and reports
• Hire, recruit, train, develop, motivate, supervise and assess staff performance
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills and engage with diverse backgrounds
• Maintain professional resident communications via newsletters and other media
• Engage in promotional/social/content marketing initiatives
