Banneker Management seeks a Property Manager to oversee a multifamily portfolio in Silver Spring, MD, ensuring financial performance, regulatory compliance, and a superior resident experience.

The role requires on-site leadership, budgeting, regular property inspections, and collaboration with ownership and staff. The starting base salary is $80,000 annually, with comprehensive benefits.

Formación

• Minimum five years of progressively responsible multifamily property management experience.
• Minimum three years managing LIHTC, affordable housing, or mixed-income communities.
• Experience supervising maintenance operations, vendors, inspections, and resident relations.
• Thorough knowledge of IRS Section 42, Fair Housing, and landlord-tenant regulations.
• Proficiency with budgeting, financial reporting, and expense control.

Responsabilidades

• Direct the day-to-day operations of the assigned portfolio.
• Maintain on-site presence and regularly inspect properties and life-safety systems.
• Ensure communities are safe, clean, properly staffed, and within budgets.
• Review financial statements, rent rolls, and budget variances; act on variances.
• Coordinate collection activities and legal actions per policy and law.
