Job Title

Senior Property Manager (CRE)

Job Description Summary

Responsible for managing the Property Management staff, overseeing a significant portfolio or property, and serving as the primary contact for third-party relationships.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  1. Direct, coordinate, and exercise responsibility for property management operations.
  2. Develop and interpret policies and programs, coordinate information flow, and strategize property management efforts.
  3. Provide leadership to Property Management staff, fostering career development.
  4. Monitor budget variances and oversee recovery processes.
  5. Manage billing processes, including invoice payments and fund disbursements.
  6. Oversee cash flow and requirements in collaboration with the Property Manager.
  7. Prepare reports, annual budgets, and other documents for owners as per management agreements.
  8. Support prompt collection of management fees and reimbursements.
  9. Maintain communication with third-party owners, ensuring compliance and timely reporting.
  10. Address tenant relations issues to ensure satisfaction.
  11. Conduct regular property inspections with staff.
  12. Oversee construction projects, including contract and invoice approval.
  13. Ensure compliance with policies, codes, regulations, and directives.

Education and Experience

Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field; 5+ years in real estate property management; certifications such as CPM, RPA, or CSM; valid real estate license; strong financial and operational knowledge; experience managing teams and contracts; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Work Environment

Office setting with routine use of standard equipment. Travel between properties in varying weather conditions is required.

Physical Demands

Includes traveling between floors, climbing stairs, outdoor travel, and sitting or standing for extended periods.
