Vesta Management Corporation is seeking a Property Manager for Carmen Senior Living Community in Schenectady, NY. The role oversees day-to-day operations, budgeting, leasing, compliance, and resident retention, with a focus on affordable housing programs such as LIHTC and Section 8.

A hands-on leader will manage staff to achieve financial and service goals. Candidates should have an associate degree or equivalent experience and 3–5 years in related roles, with preferred COS/CPO certification and

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience, plus 3–5 years in occupancy/leasing/APM roles.
• Experience with site-based affordable housing programs strongly preferred.
• COS and/or CPO Certification strongly preferred.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Multilingual skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day property operations to meet financial, leasing, compliance, and maintenance goals.
• Identify and implement effective marketing to maximize occupancy and rent collection.
• Ensure leases and paperwork are accurate and timely.
• Lead staff and ensure training and performance management.
• Coordinate maintenance and safety programs with the maintenance team.
