Job description

We are looking for a Senior Property Manager to be responsible for the operation, physical condition, and financial performance of the assigned portfolio. This includes supervising personnel, assisting in leasing and financial function, as well as ensuring the cleanliness and optimum performance of the property. This individual will continually evaluate all phases of building operations in order to enhance the efficiency of related services and operations and maximize cost effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

  1. Direct, coordinate, and exercise functional responsibility for property management business
  2. Provide overall property management leadership through the development and interpretation of policies and programs, coordination of information flow and property management strategy
  3. Provide direction and leadership to Property Management staff, promoting reasonable career paths associated with property management professionals
  4. Track budget variances and ensure smooth recovery process
  5. Oversee the billing process including payment of invoices and disbursement of funds
  6. Monitor cash flow and cash requirements in conjunction with Property Manager to ensure efficient use of cash
  7. Oversee preparation of reports, annual budget, and other documents for owner in accordance with the management agreement
  8. Support prompt collection of management fees and reimbursements to overhead
  9. Maintain interface with third-party owners, ensuring total contract compliance, and accurate and timely reporting
  10. Resolve tenant relations issues to ensure their satisfaction
  11. Perform regular property inspections with staff
  12. Oversee construction projects with Construction Manager, including approving construction contract and invoices
  13. Ensure compliance with Property Management Policies and Procedures, codes, regulations, and governmental agency directives

Desired Competency, Experience and Skills:

  1. Four year degree in Business or related field preferred
  2. 5-10 Years in Property Management field
  3. Experience with preparation of annual property budgets
  4. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, MRI, Yardi
  5. Leasing Administration experience
  6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to successfully interface with high level client

This position is 100% in-office. The role requires working in office during standard business hours. Remote work or telecommuting is not an option for this position.

Pay Range: $140,000 - $140,000 USD
