Job Description Summary
Responsible for managing the Property Management staff, overseeing a significant portfolio or property, and serving as the primary contact for third-party relationships.
Job Description
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Direct, coordinate, and exercise functional responsibility for property management operations.
  • Provide leadership through policy development, strategy, and information flow management.
  • Lead and develop Property Management staff, fostering career growth.
  • Monitor budget variances and oversee recovery processes.
  • Manage billing, invoice payments, and disbursement of funds.
  • Oversee cash flow, ensuring efficient cash use in collaboration with the Property Manager.
  • Prepare reports, annual budgets, and other documents for owners as per management agreements.
  • Support timely collection of management fees and reimbursements.
  • Maintain communication with third-party owners, ensuring compliance and accurate reporting.
  • Address tenant relations issues to ensure satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular property inspections with staff.
  • Oversee construction projects, including contract and invoice approval.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, codes, and regulations.

Education and Experience

Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field.

Additional Qualifications
  • CPM, RPA, or CSM designation preferred.
  • Real estate license required.
  • Strong financial and operational knowledge.
  • Proven management and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Work Environment

Professional office setting with routine use of standard office equipment. Travel between properties in varying weather conditions is expected.

Physical Demands

Includes travel, climbing stairs, outdoor work, and operating office machinery. Must be able to remain stationary for extended periods.
