Job summary

Weidner Apartment Homes is seeking a Service Manager to mentor the maintenance team and oversee all property maintenance. You will work with the Community Director to improve asset value and financial performance, ensuring punctual service to residents and vendors.

The role requires strong organizational skills, leadership, and broad knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems. On-site work and on-call duties are expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years maintenance experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of building systems
• Capable of managing a service team and providing customer service

Responsibilities

• Mentor and train maintenance staff and oversee all maintenance tasks
• Schedule and priority make-readies and service requests
• Manage vendor relationships and inventory within budget
• Perform pre-move out inspections and ensure property readiness
