Job summary

DBI Construction Consultants LLC in Houston seeks an experienced Project Manager II to oversee timely, cost-effective building consulting projects. You will evaluate damaged structures, develop scopes of repair, and provide cost projections, leading a small team in a fast-paced, in-person environment.

You will collaborate with construction experts, ensure accurate budgets, schedules, and client communications, and maintain adherence to quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience within construction, restoration, and/or property insurance related fields.
• Willingness to travel +/- 25% of the workweek.
• Experience with Xactimate, RS Means, Bluebeam Revu, Primavera and MS Project preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed budgets, estimates, and proposals across lump sum, unit rate, and cost-plus formats.
• Manage project timelines, schedules, and resource allocation to meet delivery commitments.
• Lead and manage a small team on low to medium complex projects.
• Coordinate with staff, consultants, and clients to maintain relationships.
• Identify risks and resolve complex technical issues as they arise.
• Ensure deliverables, budget tracking, and project documentation meet department standards.
