Job summary

DBI Consultants in Detroit is seeking a Senior Project Manager I to plan, direct and oversee construction consulting projects. You will ensure projects meet schedule and budget, lead the project team, and coordinate with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver clear, evidence-based recommendations.

This role requires 7–10 years of PM experience in construction or property insurance, travel around 30%, and proficiency with Xactimate, Bluebeam Revu, and Primavera or MS Projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction PM or related field.
• 7–10 years project management experience in construction or property insurance.
• Willingness to travel ~30% of the workweek.
• Experience with Xactimate, Bluebeam Revu, Primavera or MS Projects.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of revenue generation and project execution for a mid-sized Detroit team.
• Obtain new clients through strategic marketing efforts in partnership with local Business Development team.
• Organize and manage a project team, team workload, and project schedules.
• Build effective relationships to drive repeat clients and inspire team member retention.
• Negotiate and finalize the scope and terms of each project.
• Develop project estimates, bids, and proposals on a timely and efficient basis.
• Ensure the flow of project information is maintained and documented.
• Perform all other duties as necessary.
