Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience handling Property claims.
• Knowledge of Property policy and Business Interruption coverage.
• Ability to evaluate policy coverage and communicate with insureds and other insurers.
• Experience coordinating with underwriters and independent adjusters.
• Willingness to travel ~10%

Responsibilities

• Manage all claims administration in the claims system.
• Direct independent adjusters on coverage and claim measurement.
• Evaluate policy coverage and communicate with insureds and other insurers.
• Assist underwriters on policy wording and coverage.
• Travel to loss sites for meetings with insureds and market members (~10% travel).
• Maintain effective communication and documentation throughout the claims process.
