Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a General Adjuster - Property to handle large-loss claims, including multimillion-dollar exposures, within Pacific Time business hours. Based remotely or at eligible locations, you will adjudicate complex claims and collaborate with a global network to deliver exceptional service.

The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of property claims experience, an IIA-AIC designation, and an active state adjuster license, with a track record in negotiation and investigation to settle claims

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• IIA-AIC designation required.
• State adjuster license required.

Responsibilities

• Examine claim forms to determine insurance coverage.
• Administer and reconcile complex catastrophic property claims.
• Interview claimants and witnesses regarding claims.
• Estimate cost of repair, replacement, or compensation.
• Prepare findings and negotiate settlements.
