Job summary

JLL in New York is seeking a Senior Property Associate to support property operations, tenant relations, and financial reporting. You will liaise with tenants, property managers, vendors, and other stakeholders, lead projects, mentor teammates, and manage essential administrative tasks.

On-site duties include handling inquiries, processing service requests, data entry, AP/AR, budget variance analysis, monthly reports, lease administration, and coordinating tenant events.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Communications, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience with Yardi, Kardin and/or MRI property management software.
  • 2-3 years of work experience in an office environment, preferably in commercial real estate or property management.
  • 2-3 years of work experience in a customer service or customer-facing position.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude with eagerness to grow within the commercial real estate industry.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to tenants by responding to inquiries, processing service requests, and coordinating resolution of maintenance issues
  • Support property management team with administrative tasks including data entry, document preparation, and maintenance of property records and databases
  • Oversee comprehensive financial operations including AP/AR processing, budget variance analysis, and monthly financial reporting preparation
  • Manage vendor coordination and work orders to ensure timely completion of maintenance and repair activities
  • Help prepare monthly reports, financial summaries, and property performance updates for senior management and clients
  • Support lease administration activities including tenant move-in processes, document filing, and communication coordination
  • Lead tenant events, building communications, and community engagement initiatives to enhance tenant experience
  • All other tasks which may be required to comply with Property Management Agreements, local ordinances, or as necessary to ensure property operations
  • On-site presence required

What this job involves:

As a Senior Property Associate at JLL, you will take on expanded responsibilities in property operations while serving as a key liaison between tenants, property managers, vendors and other stakeholders. You will also provide accounting and financial support, maintain positive tenant relations and provide superior customer service. As a Senior Property Associate, you will lead specialized projects, mentor new team members and owner critical administrative functions. What your day-to-day will look like:

Salary:

Salary 69K to 80k

Estimated compensation for this position: 69,000.00 – 80,000.00 USD per year This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
