You will evaluate credibility, perform analyses using all three valuation approaches, and supervise staff as needed, within NYC's Department of Finance. Responsibilities include outreach with property owners, presenting complex valuation findings, and ensuring compliance with assessment processes.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have a degree and experience in real estate valuation.
• Experience with credibility evaluation and multiple valuation approaches is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hearings and determine corrective property tax applications.
• Research, analyze, and value all property types for assessment review.
• Coordinate, supervise, and assign work to staff when needed.
• Attend outreach sessions for property owners and real estate reps.
