Job summary

The State of Florida's Department of Revenue seeks an Appraiser II in Tallahassee to oversee property valuations for 67 delegated appraisers statewide. You will conduct field inspections, draft USPAP-compliant reports, verify sales data, and interact with contractors, grantors, grantees, and real estate agents.

The role requires attention to detail, strong writing and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of single-property or mass appraisal experience.
• Experience collecting and analyzing large quantities of sale, income, and expense data.
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel to compile, interpret, analyze, and display validation data.
• Experience in the application of multiple approaches to value and proper appraisal methodology.

Responsibilities

• Appraise real property to determine market value for assessment.
• Conduct field inspections of real property, vacant or improved.
• Write and submit USPAP compliant appraisal reports.
• Verify sales, data collection and interview parties familiar with various properties.
