AccruePartners in Charlotte, NC seeks an experienced Accountant to manage full-cycle accounting for a large portfolio of 100+ retail properties. You’ll handle bank reconciliations, GL maintenance, and timely month-end close supporting accurate financial statements.

The role requires 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Yardi is a plus.

Qualifications

5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including full-cycle accounting through financial statements.
Strong working knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accounting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and property accounting processes.
Ability to manage multiple properties, deadlines, and priorities with attention to detail.

Responsabilités

Manage the full accounting cycle for a portfolio of properties, including bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.
Prepare monthly journal entries, accruals, prepaid and deferred items, depreciation, and amortization.
Perform month-end close and prepare balance sheets, income statements, and GL detail for each property.
Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including escrows and loan balances, and review variances.
Support year-end close, audits, and tax preparation with outside CPAs; maintain internal controls and documentation.
