Hendricks Commercial Properties is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage complex property accounting responsibilities and support monthly close, reporting, and audits. You will review leases, reconciliations, budgets, and financial statements to ensure accuracy and drive process improvements.

The role emphasizes ownership, independence, and collaboration with real estate management teams to maintain accurate property financials and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial accounting principles.
• Ability to prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements.
• Experience with property accounting and budgeting processes.
• Proficiency with Yardi or Sage preferred; MS Office proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex property accounting with high independence and sound judgment.
• Prepare month-end reconciliations and analyze variances.
• Review leases, amendments, and tenant recoveries for accurate accounting.
• Assist with annual audits and financial reporting packages.
• Maintain property budgets and cash flow statements.
