Job summary

Matrix Finance and Accounting is seeking a Senior Property Accountant for an onsite Seattle role focused on residential and affordable housing properties. You will own full-cycle accounting for a portfolio, reviewing financials, GL, and balance sheets while supporting asset managers with budgets and monthly reports.

The ideal candidate has a BA in Accounting and 4+ years of residential property accounting experience, with emphasis on affordable housing.

Qualifications

• Experience with affordable housing properties is a must.
• Full-cycle financial accounting and oversight of a portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Perform full-cycle financial accounting and oversight of a portfolio of residential/affordable housing properties.
• Prepare and review financials, GL accounting, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Review accounts payable, analyze and manage property cash position.
• Prepare monthly reporting packages and assist asset managers with budgets.
• Assist with audits and design/process improvements for accounting policies.

Senior Property Accountant opportunity with a fast growing residential property management company. Take on full-cycle financial accounting and oversight of a portfolio of residential/affordable housing properties; prepare and review financials, GL accounting, balance sheet recs, review AP, analyze and manage property cash position, prepare monthly reporting packages, assist asset managers with property budgets, assist with audits, design and implement process improvement and accounting policies. Ideal role for BA in Accounting, 4+ years experience, residential property (affordable housing) experience a must. Comp range to $105K + bonus, great benefits, onsite job in Seattle (free parking).
