As part of the team, you will:

• Oversee full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of properties, including general ledger management and financial accuracy
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with company and reporting standards
• Manage month-end close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Administer lease accounting
• Partner cross-functionally with property management, asset management, and leasing teams to support operational and financial objectives
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance, review, and development support
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, system enhancements, and increased efficiency across accounting workflows.

Requirements::

• Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on property accounting experience
• Strong, in-depth knowledge of lease accounting and CAM/operating expense recoveries
• Ability to work independently
• Highly detail-oriented with a hands-on approach to accounting and problem-solving
• Demonstrated ability to supervise or mentor junior staff, including coordinating work and providing guidance
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to manage and analyze large data sets
• Motivated by long-term growth opportunities and willing to develop into increased responsibility over time
