Base pay range

$80,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr

LHH is partnering with a fantastic client in the real estate space to fill a Senior Property Accountant position on their growing team! This role will be on a Direct Hire basis and will require in-office work in Brooklyn, NY.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual asset reporting
• Prepare monthly journal entries and review expenses for accruals
• Record daily bank receipts from tenants
• Enter commercial leases, ensuring accuracy
• Perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations
• Perform monthly closing of Yardi system related to assigned building portfolio
• Prepare year-end tax workpapers
• Assist with audit prep

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or related field, required
• Prior real estate/property management industry experience required
• Experience with Yardi software preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation: $80 - $85K, depending on experience.
