Arlington Properties is hiring a Senior Property Accountant to help plan, implement, and manage accounting functions across our multifamily portfolio, including month-end close, transitional accounting, and system oversight. This role works closely with operations, executive property management, ownership entities, and third-party advisors.
This position is based in the Arlington corporate office in Birmingham, AL. The role requires the ability to remain at a desk and use a computer for extended periods, review detailed financial statements and reporting packages on screen and in print, and communicate clearly with property accountants, operations personnel, ownership, and third-party advisors — including leading team meetings and providing supervisory feedback in person and virtually. Occasional lifting of files or materials up to 15 pounds may be required.
Arlington Properties manages the ongoing operations of multifamily residential communities — including leasing, resident relations, maintenance coordination, marketing, and financial performance — across a growing, multi-state portfolio.
