Job summary

Carson is seeking a Service Technician III to lead advanced propane installations and service work at outdoor job sites across the Pacific Northwest, with minimal supervision and a focus on safety and customer service.

You will install tanks, piping, and dispenser systems, perform tests, troubleshoot equipment, and mentor junior technicians, while supporting bulk plant projects. Oregon Master Pipe Fitter license, Class B CDL, Hazmat endorsement, and 3+ years propane experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Oregon Master Pipe Fitter license required.
• Class B CDL with Air Brake endorsement and DOT medical certificate needed.
• Hazmat endorsement or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• 2+ years tanker truck driving experience.
• 3+ years propane service/installation experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot propane systems and appliances.
• Design and install propane distribution and dispenser transfer systems.
• Perform gas checks, leak tests, and system start-ups.
• Lead advanced service work and coach junior technicians.
• Maintain safety, compliance, and accurate service records.
