Job summary

CHS Northwest in Purdy, WA is seeking a Field Service Technician to install and repair propane tanks and deliver propane to customers in the Purdy area. This position is Monday–Friday and may require additional hours and on-call time during the heating season.

The ideal candidate will have a Class A or B CDL with hazmat endorsement or be willing to obtain one, work independently, and be a team player. No previous experience is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Production, Operations, and/or Maintenance and/or Field Service Maintenance.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Experience with power tools and other tools needed to complete LP service work.
• CETP certifications or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Increase propane sales through door-to-door sales, marketing programs, customer referrals, and telemarketing.
• Grow and maintain current market share through prompt delivery of all products and regular communication with current customer base.
• Make proper recommendations of propane and services to customers and promote CHS products and services.
• Perform propane and equipment installation, repair and delivery work as required by local, state, and federal regulations; invoice all products and services accurately as they are delivered or sold.
