Job summary

ITAC is seeking a Project Technical Lead to supervise construction management and administrative efforts across plant projects, ensuring safety, compliance with standards, and alignment with objectives. The role requires collaboration with multiple project managers and engineers.

This seconded position is full-time on assignment with a client, based on-site. The six-month term may extend or lead to permanent employment, depending on performance and project needs.

Qualifications

• BS Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related field.
• 5+ years of project engineering/management experience in manufacturing.
• Familiarity as owner with capital projects integrated with operating sites.
• Experience using MS Project or other scheduling software; change management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management for facility projects across multiple projects.
• Developing project schedules.
• Defines project scope, estimates, funding requests and manages spending.
• Responsible for controlling costs, forecasting spending and reporting schedules to site management.
• Leads decisions on contracting strategy and selection of contractors.
• Procures equipment and materials for project execution.
• Works with plant maintenance and contractors to schedule, execute, and supervise construction.
• Responsible for final close out reporting and all required documentation.
• Reviews engineering designs and plans; collaborates with other engineers.
• Maintains comprehensive project documentation.
