Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Project Surveyor to join our Survey/Geospatial team in Columbia, MD. The role focuses on analyzing boundary surveys, preparing complete records, and providing accurate field-to-office data through conventional methods or geospatial scanning as needed.

We require 5+ years of related experience, LSIT/PLS preferred, and proficiency in Civil 3D, TBC, and MicroStation. A valid driver’s license is required; compensation ranges from $32 to $47 per hour with

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent technical experience.
• 5+ years of related surveying experience.
• LSIT or PLS preferred.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D, TBC and MicroStation.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and prepare boundary surveys with sound analysis for property lines.
• Perform quality control reviews of reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Compute layouts for subdivisions, roads and lots, as well as buildings and utilities.
• Assist in preparing reports, plans and other contract documents.
• Organize and coordinate field and office staff to complete design tasks.
• Assist in preparing project/task work plans.
• Provide direction to staff to meet project objectives.
• Monitor work of assigned staff including sub-consultants and contractors.
• May supervise survey technician assignments.
