Job summary

McShane Construction Company is seeking a Project Superintendent to lead on-site construction activities, coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and field staff to deliver projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.

You will review drawings, enforce safety standards, and communicate with project stakeholders to ensure quality and timely completion. This role offers strong growth and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Construction Management.
• Ability to effectively communicate with clients, design consultants and trade partners.
• Full understanding and ability to schedule projects in MS Project/Primavera P6.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
• Prepare and maintain a 4-6 week look ahead schedule.
• Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, material deliveries, and equipment to optimize project workflow and minimize delays.
• Monitor progress and prepare daily reports on work performed, site conditions, and any issues affecting the schedule or quality.
• Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular site inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
