Job summary

EMBREY is seeking a Project Superintendent for multifamily construction in Orange City, FL. You will lead the project team, supervise all field operations, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time completion in accordance with plans.

The role requires 5–8 years in multifamily or wood-frame construction, experience with MS Project, Procore, and Microsoft Office, knowledge of building codes, and a valid driver's license. Bachelor's degree preferred; benefits include healthcare and 401(k).

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience as a multifamily or wood frame construction superintendent.
• Experience utilizing MS Project, Procore, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of building codes, accessibility codes, and water intrusion issues.
• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science/Management, Engineering, or related field, preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all field operations of the project.
• Provide leadership to create a safe, cooperative, and productive environment.
• Read and know the details of each Subcontract, Purchase Order, and Change Order.
• Monitor the work of subordinates to ensure quality and company interests.
• Maintain relations with field staff and subs.
• Understand local codes and regulations.
• Promote safety on the project site.
• Manage 3rd party consultant inspections.
• Gain comprehensive knowledge of plans and specs.

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science/Management, Engineering, or related field, preferred
