Job summary

Nabholz Construction seeks a Project Superintendent for on-site leadership on Florida projects. You will direct craftsmen and subcontractors, manage safety programs, and ensure work aligns with drawings, specs, and schedules.

Strong communication with the design team and owner is essential to meet timelines and quality goals. You will lead jobsite meetings, coordinate multiple trades, and drive productivity while controlling costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with technical training and experience.
• 5 years of supervision in commercial construction.
• Experience with construction means, methods, equipment, and cost control.
• Experience supervising large groups of craftspeople.
• Good written and oral communication.
• Ability to speak before groups during project interviews and presentations.
• OSHA-30 trained.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety plans and OSHA policies on site.
• Plan and supervise Crew Leaders and craft activities; determine manpower, materials, equipment, and schedule.
• Coordinate work of different crafts, departments, or contractors.
• Maintain liaison with Owner, Design Team, and Project Manager to ensure compliance with drawings and schedule.
• Lead in developing and implementing plan of resolution for construction problems.
• Maintain communications with Employee Services and Production to resolve disputes and safety issues.
• Daily reporting of manpower, resources, safety, progress, and materials.
• Document jobsite conditions and progress.
• Understand plans and specifications; keep open communications among stakeholders.
• Plan and lead jobsite meetings.
• Proactively manage schedules with Subcontractor Team and other Superintendents.
• Administer Subcontracts for compliance with contract terms.
• Provide reporting of productivity and deliveries.
• This job is safety sensitive for medical marijuana purposes.
• Driving requirement and motor vehicle records check.
• All other tasks as assigned.
