Job summary

Mullins Mechanical is seeking a Construction Project Coordinator to support the project team in Carrollton, GA. The role involves developing control processes, auditing compliance, and training project teams in standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required or preferred.
• Previous experience in project management or construction administration is preferred.
• Knowledge of construction materials, equipment, processes, and project controls.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with a collaborative mindset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction/project management software.
• Familiarity with construction safety and quality standards.
• OSHA 30, First Aid, and CPR certifications are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project control processes and procedures to ensure teams are compliant with policies and standards.
• Conduct regular audits and reviews to assess project compliance and identify areas for improvement.
• Provide guidance and training to project teams on project control requirements and best practices.
• Work with quality team to create, update, and maintain quality documentation.
• Ensure quality-related documents are recorded, filed, and accessible for audits and reviews.
• Assist in tracking quality metrics, deviations, and corrective actions.
• Manage the filing system for construction projects; keep documents organized.
• Generate and distribute project reports (status, financial, safety).
• Assist in compiling data and preparing reports for meetings and reviews.
• Learn the Assistant Project Manager role to act as a backup for APMs.
• Provide onboarding training to new APMs on policies and processes.
• Collaborate with APMs to streamline workflows and share best practices.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure seamless project execution.
• Act as a liaison between stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain alignment.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with project teams, subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to facilitate communication and collaboration.
• Coordinate with various departments such as accounting, procurement, and quality assurance to ensure seamless project execution.
• Act as a liaison between different project stakeholders to resolve issues, address concerns, and maintain project alignment.
