Job summary

Teal Energi is seeking an experienced Project Controller to support capital projects at Client’s Corpus Christi, Texas facility. This onsite, full-time contract role focuses on project scheduling, development and maintenance, progress monitoring, and reporting rather than traditional cost control.

The role involves coordinating with Projects, Engineering, Construction, Operations, Maintenance, and contractor teams to develop Level 1 and Level 2 schedules, and to track milestones and recovery

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project controls, scheduling, or related capital projects experience.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Project for schedule development, maintenance, forecasting and reporting.
• Experience developing integrated schedules covering engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, turnover, and closeout.
• Experience with MOC processes within an operating industrial environment, LNG/oil & gas or petrochemical background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain Level 1 and Level 2 schedules for capital projects using Microsoft Project.
• Establish milestones and sequence activities across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, turnover, and closeout.
• Monitor schedule performance, critical activities, forecast dates, constraints and deviations.
• Prepare schedule reports, milestone and look-ahead schedules for status meetings.
• Coordinate schedule interfaces across Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Operations, Maintenance and contractors.
• Support planning and scheduling of brownfield work within an operating industrial facility.
