Job summary

Corr Safety Professionals is seeking a Project Safety Consultant to develop and implement site-specific safety plans, conduct audits, and lead training across multiple projects. You will work with site teams to identify hazards, ensure regulatory adherence, and drive continuous safety improvements.

The role requires strong communication, investigations, and data-driven safety management to protect personnel and assets on construction and industrial sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in project safety management or consulting within construction, engineering, or industrial sectors.
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards.
• Proven ability to conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
• Strong communication skills to effectively train and influence diverse project teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project-specific safety plans and protocols in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify hazards and ensure adherence to safety standards.
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate safety considerations into project planning and execution phases.
• Lead safety training programs and toolbox talks to educate employees and subcontractors on best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain accurate safety documentation, including reports, permits, and compliance records.
• Advise management on safety performance metrics and recommend improvements to enhance overall safety culture.
