Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Project Quality Manager II to own quality on capital projects from the owner's side. You will write the project quality plan, set surveillance and audit programs for contractors and suppliers, and report performance to the project manager and owner's quality organization.

You will lead the plan, review contractor QC plans, and manage nonconformance, corrective actions, and lessons learned.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in quality on construction or industrial capital projects, including 2+ years leading a project quality program.
• ISO 9001 lead or internal auditor certification is required; ASQ CMQ-OE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Write the project quality plan and contractor/supplier quality requirements.
• Plan and lead surveillance and audits of contractors and suppliers.
• Qualify vendors and inspection agencies; review QC plans, ITPs, procedures, and inspector qualifications.
• Own nonconformance, corrective-action, and lessons-learned processes; report quality metrics and risks.
