Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Project Quality Manager II to own quality for capital projects from the owner's side. You will write the project quality plan, set surveillance/audit programs for contractors and suppliers, and qualify vendors and inspection subcontractors.

You report to the project manager and the owner's quality organization on quality performance. You will manage nonconformance, corrective actions, and lessons learned, ensuring records will stand up at turnover.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in quality on construction or industrial capital projects.
• 2+ years leading a project quality program.
• Experience with owner-side quality programs in industrial, energy, infrastructure, or federal work.
• Able to write quality requirements that contractors can actually execute and enforce them.

Responsibilities

• Write the project quality plan and contractor/supplier quality requirements that flow from it.
• Plan and lead surveillance and audits of contractors and suppliers.
• Qualify vendors and inspection agencies.
• Review and accept contractor QC plans, ITPs, procedures, and inspector qualifications.
• Own the project nonconformance, corrective-action, and lessons-learned processes.
• Report quality metrics and risks to project leadership and the owner's quality organization.
