Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Project Quality Manager II to own quality on a capital project, writing the project quality plan and setting surveillance and audit programs for contractors and suppliers. You will review contractor QC plans, lead audits, qualify vendors, manage nonconformance and corrective actions, and report quality metrics to project leadership.

Qualifications include 6+ years in construction quality, 2+ years leading a program, ISO 9001 lead or internal auditor

Qualifications

6+ years in quality on construction or industrial capital projects, including 2+ years leading a project quality program.
ISO 9001 lead or internal auditor certification.
ASQ CQA or CMQ-OE preferred.
Experience with owner-side quality programs in industrial, energy, infrastructure, or federal work.
Able to write quality requirements that contractors can actually execute, and to enforce them.

Responsibilities

Write the project quality plan and the contractor and supplier quality requirements that flow from it.
Plan and lead surveillance and audits of contractors and suppliers.
Qualify vendors and inspection agencies.
Review and accept contractor QC plans, ITPs, procedures, and inspector qualifications.
Own the project nonconformance, corrective-action, and lessons-learned processes.
Report quality metrics and risks to project leadership and the owner's quality organization.
