Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Principal Project Procurement Manager at its Columbia, SC site with a hybrid work model. You will lead multiple procurement programs, partner with commodity teams, and ensure readiness for pre-pilot, pilot and execution, reporting to the Manager, Projects Procurement Management, Supply Chain Large Capex Projects.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of procurement management experience; construction project and capital equipment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of procurement management experience.
• Construction project and capital equipment procurement experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop procurement strategies and plans with Offer and Project Teams.
• Identify demand and suppliers; establish communication with suppliers.
• Establish pricing, delivery, terms and conditions to satisfy requirements.
• Prepare and coordinate RFx processes and sourcing strategies for suppliers.
• Prepare NDAs and define commercial conditions.
• Lead RFx development and negotiation of pricing, delivery, and terms.
• Analyze total cost for commodity groups to identify cost improvements.
• Develop relationships with suppliers and manage performance issues.
• Ensure compliance with procurement procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Lead contract preparation and purchasing process; manage post-Purchase Order activities.
