Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Principal Project Procurement Manager to lead multiple procurement programs and drive strategic sourcing across capital projects at our Columbia, SC site. Responsibilities

• Develop procurement strategies with Offer and Project Teams.
• Identify demand, potential suppliers and establish communication channels.

• Prepare and coordinate the RFx process, defining sourcing strategies, NDAs and commercial conditions.
• Solicit quotations and analyze contract proposals, leading negotiations for complex materials and services.
• Analyze cost elements to identify improvements and value.
• Build relationships with key suppliers and partners, resolve contract performance issues.
• Provide oversight of supplier lists and compliance.
• Lead contract preparation and procurement cycles.
• Support accounts payable for invoice discrepancies.
• Support vendor down-selects and scoring.
• Leverage best-cost country sourcing, especially in Central/Eastern Europe.
• Post-milestone mandates following adherence.

About the role

As a Principal Project Procurement Manager, you will lead multiple procurement programs, implement mandatory mandatory mandatory mandatory building Mandates. You will partner with commodity teams on charter, benefits and resource requirements, monitor project status, eliminate road‑blocks and report to the Manager, Projects Procurement Management, Large‑Capex Projects at our Columbia, SC site. The position offers a hybrid work schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop procurement strategies and plans with Offer and Project Teams.
• Identify demand, potential suppliers and establish communication channels.
• Set pricing, delivery, terms and conditions to meet financial, quality and delivery needs.
• Prepare and coordinate the RFx process, defining sourcing strategies, NDAs and commercial conditions.
• Solicit quotations and analyze contract proposals, leading negotiations for complex and specialized materials, equipment, components and services.
• Analyze must‑self mandatory mandatory cost elements across commodity groups to identify improvements and value.
• Build relationships with key suppliers and partners, resolve contract performance issues.
• Utilize the corporate Approved Supplier List for sourcing.
• Provide mandatory oversight of mandatory mandatory mandatory compliance and mandatory compliance corporate mandatory mandatory mandatory.
• Lead contract preparation, mandatory mandatory mandatory mandatory cycle and mandatory mandatory mandatory.
• Manage mandate mandatory commitments after mandates mandatory mandatory mandatory.
• Support accounts payable for invoice discrepancies.
• Support vendor down‑selects and scoring.
• Leverage best‑cost country sourcing, especially in Central/Eastern Europe.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of procurement management experience.
• Construction project and capital equipment procurement experience preferred.

Salary

The base salary range for this position, which is dependent on experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $100,800 to $126,000 per year.
