Job summary

GSW, a healthcare communications agency, seeks a Senior Project Planner to strengthen the financial health and coordination across brands. The role focuses on managing budgets, forecasts, and billing while guiding project timelines and vendor interactions.

You will collaborate with Brand Project Managers and Account leads to ensure transparency, accuracy, and healthy brand financials, bringing strong communication and problem-solving skills to a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• BS/BA (or relevant experience).
• 5+ years’ experience in advertising/marketing production/delivery.
• Experience with health and medical advertising/pharma.

Responsibilities

• Drives the financial health of assigned brands.
• Creates and maintains yearly and/or project-specific budget scope documents.
• Develops estimates and manage billing processes.
• Leads monthly forecasting including preparing forecast and providing rationale on submission.
• Serves as the client point of contact for financial management.
• Collaborates with brand Project Manager and Account brand leads to ensure transparency, accuracy and health of brand financials.

You are a natural fit for this Senior Project Planner position with GSW.

The Senior Project Planner is a driver in the financial and vendor aspect of any account. Managing financials (scopes, estimates, and billing worksheets), assisting in revenue forecasting and reconciliations, developing chronologies, coordinating productions, and handling final distribution.

Responsibilities

Requirements

Education

• BS/BA (or relevant experience)
• 5+ years’ experience in advertising/marketing production/delivery

Skills

• Experience in health and medical advertising / pharma
• Technical Expertise: MS Office Suite; Experience with Project Management software (nice to have)

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $90,000 CAD. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
