Job summary

Markent Personnel, Inc. is assisting a leading design firm in New York City to hire a Senior Project Manager for Corporate Workplace Interiors.

The role requires guiding complex interior projects from inception through close-out, with a focus on client impact and design integrity. You will oversee budgets, schedules, contracts, and staffing, coordinate with real estate teams and consultants, ensure NYC/IBC compliance, and present proposals to clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture; MA a plus.
• Minimum 10 years in corporate workplace interiors project management.
• Working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Understanding NYC and IBC codes and base building infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead diverse corporate interior projects from inception to close-out.
• Prepare project budgets and schedules; manage finances and invoices.
• Generate contractual agreements and interface with client, real estate team, landlords and consultants.
• Coordinate bidding, bid analysis and respond to questions during procurement.
• Oversee project production, staffing projections and final red-line review.
• Ensure code compliance and successful project close-out with sign-off.

Senior Project Manager - Corporate Workplace Interiors

New York, NY

Our client is an award-winning provider of innovative design solutions. Headquartered in New York City with satellite offices in Long Island, the firm works locally, regionally, nationally and internationally.

They currently have an immediate need for an experienced Senior Project Manager with more than 10 years of continuous corporate workplace experience for their New York City office to lead diverse projects for their practice.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in responding to RFP's and attend new business presentations
• Calculate and track man / hour projections and project fees
• Generate contractual agreements
• Interface with the client, real estate team, landlord and consultants
• Assist in code review, building analysis, and lease review
• Prepare consultant RFP's
• Generate project budgets and schedules
• Prime client interface during all phases of project
• Oversee project production and staffing projections
• Final red-line review of construction documents
• Overall review of consultant documents
• Manage project finances including budgets, contracts, change orders, additional services requests, payment requisitions, fee tracking, invoicing and collections.
• Attend project meetings as required
• Coordinate bidding process, including response to questions, interviews, bid review and analysis
• General coordination & management of designated project team
• Project close-out and sign-off

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture (BA); Master's degree (MA) a plus
• Minimum of 10 years of continuous project management experience in Corporate Workplace Interiors
• A working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD
• Strong presentation skills
• Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and communication skills
• A strong understanding and experience with NYC and IBC Building Codes, compliance, filing strategies, and base building infrastructure.

The projected Annual Salary Range for this role is: $120K to $160K. Position is full time, hybrid and includes a comprehensive benefits plan.
