Job summary

Apex is seeking a Sr Project Manager to lead multi-disciplinary teams on complex water infrastructure projects in Florida. You will oversee project execution, client communications, and coordination with field staff and designers to ensure successful outcomes.

The role requires a Civil Engineering background with PE licensure and at least 10 years of specialized experience in Drinking Water Utilities, Pump Stations, and related areas. Travel to Southwest and Tampa regions may be necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor and/or Master degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer licensure required.
• Experience with drinking water utilities projects and regulatory engagement preferred.
• Strong communication skills and capability to work in field and office settings.

Responsibilities

• Supervise technical staff and project managers on multiple complex projects.
• Lead client interactions, project execution, and business development.
• Prepare meeting agendas/minutes and manage payments/applications.
• Coordinate with field staff and designers; review plans and calculations.
• Ensure QA/QC and risk management across projects.
• Provide training and mentorship to staff.
