Job summary

UC San Diego Health’s Organizational Consultant 4 will lead the development and implementation of the virtual care strategy, overseeing telehealth workflows across inpatient and ambulatory settings. You will partner with clinical, operational, IT, and support leaders to design standards and governance, drive adoption, and deliver measurable outcomes across enterprise initiatives.

Qualifications

• Nine (9) years of related experience, education/training, OR a Bachelor's degree in related area plus five (5) years of related experience/training.
• Advanced knowledge of organizational development and effectiveness theories to assess and implement interventions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, project planning and implementation skills.
• Highly skilled in facilitation, consulting and relationship building.
• Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills.
• Strong consulting, relationship building, and strategic thinking skills.
• Ability to coach, facilitate and influence people at all levels.
• Ability to learn quickly, reason, and draw unbiased conclusions.
• Ability to focus on priorities, strategy, and vision.
• Knowledge of consulting processes to lead engagements from inception to conclusion.
• Ability to persuade through logic and motivation.

Responsibilities

• Lead as primary project manager for virtual care initiatives across ambulatory and inpatient settings.
• Design workflows, establish standards and operating models for enterprise telehealth programs.
• Coordinate training, adoption, and continuous improvement across multiple departments.
• Drive measurable outcomes and governance for complex, cross-functional projects.
• Serve as a strategic partner to senior leaders across clinical, operational, IT, and support services.
