Job summary

Veridus Group Inc. seeks a Senior Project Manager to represent the Owner’s Representative Group. You will lead budgets, schedules, and scopes while directing construction oversight and ensuring contractual compliance.

You will act as the primary client contact, oversee project teams, and mentor Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers. Travel between sites is required and strong leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is required
• Advanced degrees are preferred and/or encouraged
• Professional designations preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead development, monitoring, and execution of project budgets, schedules and scopes of work
• Anticipate risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve complex project challenges
• Direct construction oversight, review change orders, and ensure contractual compliance
• Maintain quality, safety, and performance standards across all project phases
• Serve as primary client contact on assigned projects
• Lead project presentations, forums, and stakeholder meetings
• Build long-term client relationships through responsiveness and professionalism
• Supervise Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers, delegating tasks and monitoring performance
• Provide coaching and professional development opportunities to staff
• Promote collaborative, accountable, and innovative team culture
• Lead and contribute to proposals and pursuit strategies for new projects
• Support leadership in growing the Owner’s Representative practice
• Model and reinforce Veridus’ culture, mission, and values
• Ensure timely reporting, documentation, timesheet submission, and expense tracking

The Senior Project Manager (SPM) represents the Veridus Owner’s Representative Group and serves as the primaryclient contact for projects. Building on the Project Manager role, the SPM manages projects with greaterindependence from the Project Executive while also supervising and mentoring Project Managers and AssistantProject Managers. This role balances direct project delivery with leadership responsibilities, ensuring alignmentwith client goals, budget, and schedule, while reinforcing Veridus’ mission, vision, and values.Duties & Responsibilities1.
