Job summary

SB Energy is seeking a Project Manager for utility-scale thermal generation projects, focusing on combined-cycle natural gas plants, from LNTP through FC. You will lead EPC contracts, coordinate with OEMs, and ensure safety, budget, and schedule targets are met.

With 7–10+ years in large energy projects, you will collaborate with internal teams and external partners, travel 25–50% as needed, and report to SB Energy leadership. This is an on-site Portsmouth, OH role with strong growth potential.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of professional experience in large-scale energy projects.
• Experience managing EPC contracts and major equipment suppliers.
• Strong understanding of project budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 and MS Office.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Owns utility-scale power generation projects from LNTP to Final Completion and commercial operation.
• Manage EPC contracts, equipment suppliers, and coordination with internal teams.
• Maintain project budget, cash flow, invoicing, and financial reporting.
• Maintain and manage project schedule; Primavera P6 experience strongly preferred.
• Coordinate major equipment procurement, delivery, startup, commissioning, and testing.
