  • Track progress, issues, changes and dependencies; maintain project records.
  • Coordinate communications and reporting cadence; ensure deadlines for regulatory and client reporting.
  • Manage vendors and subcontractors under defined procedures; ensure work plans meet verification paths.
  • Support data collection and standard reporting workflows; contribute to dashboards and packs.
  • Prepare deliverables for check/review and director approval before external use.
  • Escalate risks early to support no-surprises delivery.
  • Close out projects with documentation, lessons learned and handoff.

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager

The Project Manager leads day-to-day planning and execution for assigned projects, using standardized PMO tools and repeatable workflows. The role coordinates teams, manages scope/schedule/cost controls, and prepares compliant deliverables for verification and approval.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

Key Responsibilities
  • Initiate and plan projects using disciplined project management practices (scope confirmation, WBS, schedule, risk planning, onboarding).
  • Manage execution and controls: track progress, issues, changes, and dependencies; maintain project records in the project workspace for traceability.
  • Coordinate communications and reporting cadence; maintain deadline control for regulatory and client reporting obligations.
  • Manage vendors and subcontractors under defined procedures; ensure work plans and outputs follow required verification pathways.
  • Support digital field data collection and standardized reporting workflows; contribute to dashboards and evidence packs used for program and project visibility.
  • Prepare deliverables and ensure they are ready for check/review and director approval prior to external use.
  • Escalate risks and deviations early using leading indicators and agreed thresholds to support ‘no surprises’ delivery.
  • Close out projects with complete documentation, lessons learned, and handoff as required.
Key Qualifications
  • Demonstrated project management experience in delivery environments requiring strong compliance and documentation.
  • Ability to manage scope, schedule, cost, and risk with a structured approach.
  • Strong coordination skills across field/office resources and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills; capable of producing and managing recurring reporting deliverables.
  • Background in Upstream field support programs (basin/state regulatory environments) and/or mining closure and waste management programs.
  • Familiarity with structured delivery frameworks that embed assurance (verification, documentation, audit trails) into workflows.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science or related field.
  • PE or PG will be highly regarded.
  • 8+ years of experience in environmental consulting including environmental remediation and site assessments, report writing, data management & interpretation, project coordination, and managing clients.
  • OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification a plus.
  • Ability and willingness to travel client meetings is required.
  • Experience with repeatable, high-volume programs where standardization and automation are used to improve efficiency.
  • Familiarity with analytics dashboards and data management practices that support compliance tracking and decision-making.

Salary Range: $84,000- $140,000 based on experience and location.
