Barton Malow is seeking a Sr. Project Manager for its Thermal Energy book of work in Michigan.

You will lead client communications, provide project progress reports, and manage budget, schedule, and quality control plans across teams of architects, engineers, and trade partners. You will develop project schedules, monitor costs, and drive risk management while collaborating with owners and the project team to ensure successful completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering.
• 15+ years of relevant experience in large thermal energy projects.
• Strong organizational skills and contract/ legal provisions knowledge.
• Ability to adapt to changing processes and view challenges from new perspectives.
• Proven multitasking ability and maintaining client relationships while meeting deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Facilitates coordination meetings with the project team from preconstruction to close-out.
• Oversee procurement, bidding strategy, develop work scopes, arrange pre-bid meetings.
• Develop project schedule and jobsite setup, mobilization and permit management.
• Manage general conditions budget, cash flow analysis, monitor project costs.
• Assist General Superintendent with owner issues and subcontractor communications.
• Coordinate team members and resources, supervise jobsite staff.
• Build relationships with clients and Barton Malow team members.
• Administer financials of owner contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders.
