Job description

Many of the world’s top engineers and scientists come together in our Water business because they view a community’s interaction with water a bit differently—as a single holistic system, rather than unconnected networks divided by jurisdictional boundaries. Working throughout the hydrologic cycle, we are delivering sustainable solutions to make sure water is where it should be and available when needed. Our experts guide our work with scientific rigor, an innovative spirit, and a vision for growth. Every day, we help communities improve, reuse, and protect this precious resource for future generations.

Your Opportunity

We are looking for a talented Conveyance Sr. Project Manager / Technical Lead focused on the planning and engineering design of water infrastructure projects who wants to be part of a purpose-driven organization that’s focused on helping our clients, colleagues, and communities thrive. You will primarily work on wastewater-related projects through collaboration with a wide range of technical disciplines. Our people are Stantec’s most valuable resource, and by joining our team, you will leverage your career experiences and expertise within a culture that values inclusion, celebrates shared success, and applauds ambition.

Joining Stantec’s global network of over 600 conveyance engineers, you will have the opportunity to lead iconic water conveyance projects from initial request through construction, shaping our established and talented local team and our North American Conveyance Sector. The role involves identifying, developing, pursuing, and winning projects with new and existing clients to grow our conveyance trenchless condition assessment and rehabilitation business. It requires leadership in executing and delivering complex conveyance projects and offers opportunities for thought leadership through collaboration with research and innovation teams to develop and deploy innovative technologies. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills, market knowledge, business acumen, innovative ideas, and a proven track record in client relations and account management.

Does working with clients on great projects, with a talented team of professionals, appeal to you? Apply now to join some of the best technical people in the world and work on projects you can be proud of!

At Stantec, we value a hybrid work environment that combines in-person collaboration with remote flexibility. As a technical mentor, you will be expected to be in the office, on average, three days a week.
