Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead major projects from initiation through handoff, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery in alignment with Mayo Clinic PM methodologies. This role requires strong Agile/scrum leadership and proven budget management.

The Senior PM will guide cross-functional teams, coach on backlog refinement, and may have direct and indirect reports. On-site with potential for remote work, this role emphasizes strategic impact across enterprise initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 10 years’ experience in Project Management and business related activities or Master's degree with 7 years’ experience in Project Management.
Active (unexpired) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required.
Certifications such as Certified Product Management, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Advanced Certified Scrum Master (A-CSM), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner, Risk Management Professional (RMP) and/or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) may be included.

Responsibilities

Plan, direct, coordinate and deliver major/complex project activities through full life cycle.
Lead projects with site- or enterprise-level strategic importance and manage budgets.
Monitor and improve Agile/scrum processes; support Product Owner with backlog refinement.
Provide mentorship on project management practices and standards to staff.
Perform additional job-related functions as needed by supervisor.
