Goliath Construction Consulting, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead substation and utility infrastructure initiatives in a dynamic field environment in New Jersey.

You will own budgets, schedules, contracts, and field execution, driving project performance from preconstruction through closeout. Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in project/construction management with electrical infrastructure experience, strong leadership, cost control, and customer relationship skills

Qualifications

• 7+ years of project management or construction management experience.
• Direct experience with substation, high-voltage, transmission, distribution, or related electrical infrastructure construction.
• Ownership of full construction project management process including cost, schedule, change management and field execution.
• Experience winning construction work is highly preferred.

We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a leading infrastructure construction organization. This position will oversee substation and utility infrastructure projects and is ideal for someone with a strong contractor-side background who understands both winning work and executing it successfully in the field.

This is a hands-on leadership position with significant responsibility for project financials, field execution, customer relationships, and overall project performance.

What This Role Involves

• Manage substation and utility construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Take ownership of project budgets, forecasting, schedules, procurement, billing, change orders, and cost controls.
• Coordinate field teams, subcontractors, vendors, engineering teams, utilities, and customers.

Ideal Background

• 7+ years of project management or construction management experience.
• Strong background with an electrical contractor, EPC contractor, utility contractor, or T&D/substation contractor.
• Direct experience with substation, high-voltage, transmission, distribution, or related electrical infrastructure construction.
• Demonstrated ownership of the full construction project management process, including cost, schedule, change management, and field execution.
• Experience competing for and winning construction work is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of electrical construction operations and field coordination.
