Wisconsin Department of Health Services in Madison, WI is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead strategic initiatives across divisions. You will coordinate PM activities, apply predictive, adaptive, or hybrid methodologies, and provide guidance to leadership on priority programs.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in PM with PMP, strong communication and EQ, and proven success managing $1M+ initiatives with multi-team collaboration. This role emphasizes business outcomes over technical delivery.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project management experience with PMP certification.
• 8+ years managing multiple concurrent projects with business, vendor, organizational change management, and technology workstreams.
• 8+ years delivering projects with adaptive, hybrid, and predictive methodologies, including stage gate governance.
• 8+ years leading projects with measurable KPIs and outcomes.
• Led at least two large projects ($1M+ budget, 18+ months) through full life cycle.
• Capable of managing a project or subset with up to ten staff members.
• Bachelor's Degree and PMP certification.

• Help executive leadership develop departmental strategy and define strategic initiatives.

• Coordinate and manage business-focused working teams for initiatives.
• Track key milestones and adjust plans/resources to meet customer needs.
