Job summary

SCG Fields, LLC is seeking a Project Manager II to lead internal planning, budgeting, procurement, and documentation for complex construction projects at our Brecksville, Ohio office. You will partner with the Construction Manager, Superintendent, estimators, and trade partners to ensure successful delivery from estimating handoff to closeout.

Qualifications

• Experience managing construction projects with budgets, procurement, subcontractors, and change orders.
• Strong knowledge of project lifecycles, drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and closeout.
• Financial analysis skills to forecast profitability and manage risk.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal planning, budgeting, and documentation for assigned construction projects.
• Coordinate with Construction Manager, Super intendent, estimators, and partners to drive project success.
• Create and manage project files, budgets, and required systems from setup through closeout.
• Forecast profitability, track costs, and communicate trends to the team in real time.
• Procure materials, equipment, subcontractors, and other resources; pursue cost-saving opportunities.
• Review subcontractor and vendor proposals for best value and scope alignment.
• Maintain project documentation, change orders, and timely turnover to owners.
• Lead meetings, track progress, and keep stakeholders informed of risks and actions.
• Ensure compliance with contract documents, drawings, specs, and quality standards.
• Support field activities and occasional manual labor as needed.
